At Home Base Physical Therapy we offerr a variety of different services, some of which include: pediatric physical therapy, orthopedic and sports physical therapy, and lymphedema therapy. For each service we strive to provide the most compassionate care while implementing evidence based skilled physical therapy. It is our goal to not only help each patient with his or her unique issue, but to educate that person so that he or she understands how to fully overcome their injury and prevent recurrence in the future. We take pride in individualized care for each person.

ABOUT US

Brinda Rathod, PT, MSPT, CLT

Brinda graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services. She went on to receive her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 2005. Since graduating, she has worked with children and adults with developmental disabilities. Her pediatric experience includes working in early intervention, outpatient, inpatient, and school settings. In the past year, she has focused her time working with infants with torticollis and stressing the importance of Tummy Time to assist with development. In 2016, Brinda became a certified lymphedema therapist. This specialty allows her to help people manage their lymphedema with complete decongestive therapy including manual lymph drainage and multi-layer compression bandaging.

Michael DiLella, PT, MSPT

Michael graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in 2005, where he received the Dean’s scholarship. He has been practicing physical therapy for over ten years, specializing in orthopedic and sports physical therapy. Michael is proficient in several adjunctive PT skills such as kinesiotaping, instrument assisted soft tissue scraping, and trigger point dry needling.

Orthopedic Physical Therapy

From post-surgical, to strains and sprains, orthopedic physical therapy can help. Our philosphy includes empowering the patient with not only the physical attributes they need to accomplish their goals, but also with the knowledge of how to prevent injury in the future. Each patient receives an individualized plan of care which is tailored to their specific needs and goals.

Pediatric Physical Therapy

Pediatric Physical Therapy specializes in the treatment and management of children from birth to twenty one years old. With the aim to assist them in functioning properly in their home, school, and community. We handle orthopedic as well as neurologic pediatric cases. Each child receives individualized care.

Lymphedema Therapy

The goal of lymphedema therapy is to manage lymphedema and prevent any further problems or complications. Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) is the number one treatment approach for lymphedema. Brinda Rathod became a certified Lymphedema Therapist in 2016.
